About Us

Discover Adag-Anii’s Journey in Climate-Smart Agriculture

Since its incorporation in Uganda in 2011, Adag-Anii Company Limited has been a farmer-owned agricultural enterprise dedicated to transforming livelihoods across 19 districts in Northern Uganda (Lango, Acholi, Teso, and Karamoja sub-regions). Initially focused on developing value chains for rice, maize, and soy beans, we shifted to cocoa in 2020 as a sustainable, high-yield cash crop, supporting over 842 cocoa farmers managing 492 acres today.

Our vision is for each member household to earn at least 400 USD per month from every acre of climate-smart cocoa production while protecting biodiversity. Our mission is to ensure sustainable household income to fight poverty through climate-smart agricultural production, biodiversity protection, and agribusiness practices. We are guided by our core values: Unity, Inspiration, Excellence, Respect, Integrity, Transparency, Farmer-Centered, and Climate-Smart.

Partnering with ICAM Chocolates and the National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO), we deliver high-quality, sustainable produce to global markets.
